WA Cares Fund Program
Washington State has introduced the WA Cares Fund to help workers prepare for future long-term care needs. This program ensures that individuals have resources to live safely and independently as they age. Starting January 1, 2026 a small pilot program will go live with full state access starting July 1, 2026.

Program Highlights

State-Run Long-Term Care Benefit – Funded through worker contributions to provide support when care is needed.
